I really enjoyed my pescado Vallarta. It was muy delicioso. The restaurant was very busy and a party of 30 was being served. The staff was hoofing it.
Other diners in my party loved the queso, chips and guac. I would recommend the ground beef tacos for kids because the steak tacos are stuffed with steak and possibly too much for them
By far one of the best Mexican restaurants in Greenwood. Easy location, great service and delicious food. You walk in and you're immediately served and brought to your seat. Their chips and salsa is much better than past restaurants in this area, let alone the duration of which it takes for you to order your food and have it hot and steamy right in front of you is impeccably quick. I highly recommend the Carlos Special for those who love chicken, steak and shrimp!! Pricing is a bit expensive, but worth it.
Don't go to Puerto Vallarta Mexican restaurant!!! Rude Pricks put onions on our tacos when we said no onions, then when I told them they tried to pick off the onions (I'm sure with their bare hands) and then return the food to me!!! and had the nerve to argue with me that I wanted my food remade without onions.
I ordered a large salsa and got a small tomatillo sauce instead, and because I bitched about the tacos they only give us one small bag of chips when we should have got two large!!!
we've never been a big fan of this place but we continue to go here because it is so close to home....... never again... but wait there's more.
After getting home and taking a bite of the cheese dip I realized they didn't give us cheese dip they gave us a bowl of beans with a thin layer of cheese on top to make us think it was cheese dip. After going back to the store only thing anybody could say is " we understand why you're upset"
I came here for lunch with a group of six and the food was pretty decent. The best thing about this restaurant was the service. We had little to no wait and they were always quick to refill a drink or move dirty dishes out of the way. Overall it's a pretty good spot if you are in the mood for Mexican food.
I have been here a few times and I would have to say this place is just okay. The service is always hit or miss. They do have a lot of seating options because the place is pretty big. They have the elaborately carved booths and the flashy murals. It's pretty inexpensive here. They have some starters that aren't really Mexican, but more American. So if you have someone in your party who doesn't totally love Mexican food, that's a nice option for them. The arroz con pollo is pretty good here. Nothing in particular has really stood out to me. I personally think there are better Mexican restaurants in the area with better specials, food, and friendlier staff.
